Walk with Us in Giving Joy

There's something special about gathering around a purpose together. For us, that purpose this season is offering warmth and joy to several kids in the CASA program. Their wish lists opened the door and we're inviting you to walk through it with us. These gifts carry a message that matters. They let a child know that someone out there is thinking of them and wanting good things for them.

Below is their holiday wishlist. If you feel pulled to sponsor a gift, email us at missbehavingiso@gmail.com and let us know which wish you’re claiming. We’ll mark it off the list so everyone can see what’s still needed.
Please note that all gifts are due by December 18.

Thank you for helping create a holiday that feels brighter and more hopeful for these kids.

Seventeen-year-old young man

Clothes and shoes are at the top of his list. He loves Vans and Ben Davis, and because teenagers are professional decision makers when it comes to personal style, gift cards are the ideal fit. Cards from Ross, Zumies, TJ Maxx, or Marshalls let him choose what feels right to him, and online Kendama gift certificates are perfect for his favorite hobby.

Sponsored:

$50 TJ Maxx gift card, $25 Ross gift card, $100 Kendama gift card, $50 Zumies gift card

Nine-year-old boy

The nine-year-old boy asked for exactly two things for Christmas. Hot Wheels tracks and Hot Wheels cars. That’s it. If you feel inspired to add a little extra joy, we’re gladly accepting Hot Wheels-themed accessories or games, and Target gift cards are also a wonderful way to give him the fun of choosing something himself.

Sponsored:

Hot Wheels Mega Loop Garage, and 16 Hot Wheels Cars, Hot Wheels track set with loops and crash points, Hot Wheel carrier

Nine-year-old girl

The nine-year-old girl has a list full of imagination and cozy comforts. She’d love a Nintendo Switch, $50 Nintendo gift card, a Jurassic Park LEGO Nintendo game, a beanbag to curl into, a Jurassic Park LEGO set, and a drawing journal with pens and/or coloring pencils. Additional art supplies are always a welcome surprise for a child who expresses herself through creativity.

Sponsored:

Jurassic Park LEGO set, drawing set, beanbag, Nintendo Switch & carrying case, Jurrasic Park LEGO Nintendo game, $50 Nintendo gift card, ear buds

Fifteen-year-old young woman

The fifteen-year-old girl took her time before sharing her list. Asking for things wasn’t easy for her. When she finally did, she mentioned Pokémon cards, winter clothes in medium, and art supplies to fuel her creativity. For clothing, gift cards are preferred so she can choose what feels comfortable and true to her. She lives close enough to walk to Human Bean, one of her favorite spots, so a gift card from there would feel especially sweet.

Sponsored:

$25 Human Bean gift card, 2 $25 Kohl's gift cards, Pokémon cards, two sweaters, warm lounging pants, coloring pencils and adult coloring book, $100 TJ Maxx gift card

If you prefer, $25 gift cards (Target, Walmart, Kohl's, etc.) are also welcome and will either help complete unmet wishes or shared evenly among the four kids.

Gifts can be dropped off at the House of Peachable Offenses, or we're happy to arrange pickup if that's easier. Just let us know what works for you.

Thank you again for helping us surround these kids with generosity and care. May your own season be filled with warmth, calm, and the kind of joy that lingers.
